The Alliance is a group of non-profit professionals committed to the business, community and economic development efforts that result in a stronger local and regional economy. Representatives from area Chambers of Commerce, the Lenawee Conference & Visitors Bureau, Lenawee Now, and communities throughout Lenawee County meet monthly to share information, problem-solve, generate ideas and plan cross-promotional activities.

Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce
The Adrian Area Chamber of Commerce is a membership organization that specializes in business and community development. Marketing of members goods, services, and activities are conducted utilizing: social media; weekly e-newsletters; Chamber on-line bulletins; print and broadcast media; in-office placement of marketing materials; referrals; video and web presence. Members are encouraged to build profitable relationships by participating in networking activities offered through their membership, including Adrian in the AM; Chamber FUNdraiser; Business After Hours; Annual Meeting; Economic Club Luncheons; It’s All About the Fun; Golf Tournament; and the Chamber Breakfast Club. Marketing initiatives developed to increase consumer awareness are held annually and feature: All AboutWomen Health fair and EXPO; Senior Lifestyle EXPO; and Business TechConference. The Chamber collaborates with organizations such as the LEDC, OneLenawee, The Alliance, LISD, LCCVB, and SCMW, giving members a collective voice in programs that impact their businesses, community, and families.

Our traditional downtown boasts a variety of businesses — antiques, restaurants and attention-getting gift shops. These businesses, in combination with the historic charm of the downtown district, provide an excellent day-trip destination for residents of nearby Ann Arbor, Detroit, and Toledo.
Blissfield is known across the Midwest for two attractions. The Hathaway House offers fine dining for elite tastes, serving over 90,000 meals per year. The Old Road Dinner Train, the longest continuously operating dinner train in North America, offers murder mysteries and other fun events around the year. There’s lots more to see when you visit one of our many events.
Blissfield Rail Road Days celebrates our long history of rail transportation in April. In August, Bluegrass on the River Festival brings great music to the banks of the River Raisin. Yuletide Cheer is a great shopping event that gets the whole community into the holiday spirit in November. The Parade of Lights and Wassail Festival finish off the December holiday season with family fun.

The mission of the Brooklyn-Irish Hills Chamber of Commerce (BIHCC) is: To promote, serve, collaborate with our members and the community to foster a sustainable, prosperous business environment that cultivates a high quality of life and economic success. - The population of Tecumseh is 8,521 residents according to the 2010 census data.
- Tecumseh was named for the Shawnee Indian leader who had died only a dozen years before in the War of 1812.
- Tecumseh was one of the first three settlements in the Michigan Territory.
- Tecumseh was the first settlement in Lenawee County, made on May 21, 1824.
- Tecumseh has park and open space totaling 365 + acres.
- Tecumseh has an extensive network of pedestrian pathways and hiking/biking trails that provide residents and visitors ample access to 13 parks that virtually surround the city.
- Tecumseh is home to the Tecumseh Center for the Arts (TCA), a 572 seat performing arts venue that hosts national touring acts as well as a “homegrown talent” series. The TCA celebrated its 30th year in 2011.
- Downtown Tecumseh has much to offer its guests! Nestled inside historic buildings you will find an interesting mix of specialty shops, boutiques, and dining options.
