Lenawee Now and the Hillsdale County Economic Partnership (HEDP) successfully applied for funding for local business recovery last year. That grant has provided funding for businesses in both counties to recover from COVID19 operational disruptions.
We are again applying jointly for new funding, this time to establish an entrepreneurship ecosystem. Entrepreneurs and companies that are acting in an entrepreneurship spirit to change their product or service base will be assisted through this funding.
The HEDP and Lenawee Now will service individual companies as connectors to universities, companies, or other partners with high-tech experience, including funding pathways.
The EDA funds would be used to drive technology transfer, innovation, commercialization, and adoption for your growth opportunity. Your project(s) will be assisted confidentially.
We believe our greatest opportunity to gain local momentum for future markets is through our own people and companies. Growing our own new companies or growing our current companies that have goals to move into high-tech product diversification strengthens our region. If you would like to attend in person or through a Zoom connection here are the details.
