Careers of Today and Tomorrow showcases the best in the manufacturing and engineering, construction, energy, health sciences, and transportation fields. Through this event, employers, training providers, and post-secondary institutions will be able to connect with adult job seekers and undecided high school seniors.
Exhibitors will be able to network with up to 1,000 high school students, to advertise and fill open positions, and showcase job opportunities. These individuals will be able to learn about different careers and possibly obtain gainful employment after high school. Adult job seekers can get assistance in resume writing and learn effective job search strategies, as well as discuss employment opportunities.
Each adult job seeker must register individually. However, when registering students, group registration is encouraged, though each student must have an individual ticket.
This event is on May 12, at the Center for Science and Industry in Hudson, Michigan. There will be two sessions. From 9 am to 11 am, Careers of Today and Tomorrow will be hosting students. In the afternoon session, ranging from 1 pm to 3 pm, adult job seekers will be able to network with employers.
