Adrian College and Siena Heights University have dual enrollment opportunities for high school students looking to earn college credit before graduating.

Through dual enrollment, students can gain both high school and college credits, which can be used toward a degree at the institution of dual enrollment or can be transferred elsewhere. Enrollment in a single-semester college course will earn the student the specified college credits along with a full year of the student’s high school requirement. For instance, if a dual enrollee takes an English class in the fall of their junior year, their high school English requirements would be fulfilled for the entirety of that year. Like Advanced Placement (AP) Coursework, college classes on a high school transcript are calculated on a 5-point scale. However, the 5-point grading system does not apply to an individual’s transcript from the college.

Both Adrian College and Siena Heights University allow high schoolers to take any course, provided they have the necessary prerequisites.

Siena Heights University offers students who plan to attend the institution after graduation the option to enroll in the fast-track program. By enrolling in the fast-track, students will be able to complete most four-year programs in three years and have access to an advisor.
