Navigating Businesses, Employers, Entrepreneurs, Employees, and Others to Helpful Resources During COVID-19
Dear Friends, Neighbors, Investors, and Partners:
On behalf of Lenawee Now, we would like to let you know that everyone in the office is here for you through these unusually exceptional and difficult times. The office will remain open and staff will be available during regular office hours. Our partners from the State of Michigan, Michigan Economic Development Corporation, Michigan Works! Southeast, the Greater Ann Arbor Region and the Detroit Regional Partnership have provided us with relevant information necessary for health and safety protection. Not to lighten the current, very challenging environment, but we have decided not to send you yet another notice on the proper way to wash your hands.
These partners continue to update our office keeping us informed. The team has compiled an active list of available resources that will be continuously updated. Should questions arise and you do not feel that you have the most up to date information, please contact us and we will absolutely channel information to you immediately.
We are especially appreciative of our staff and their dedication to continuing their work in support of all of you. Our guidelines for continuing our work are those being directed by both the President and the Governor. These include practicing social distancing by appointments and meetings with no more than ten people along with following all recommendations and directives to assure the continuation of the Lenawee Now mission to restore a healthy and prosperous economic world.
As mentioned, there is information on the many resources available and be assured we are here to answer any questions or help you field any difficulties you are experiencing through this crisis. Please feel free to call, email, text, or make an appointment to visit us and as always, we will assist you in every way possible. Should more restrictions be implemented, the Lenawee Now office has the capability to keep our personnel and services available remotely.
Continue to believe in this great country, state, and Lenawee County. Through helping each other, we will get through this emergency. On behalf of the Board of Directors and the entire staff at Lenawee Now, stay healthy and safe!
Kind personal regards,
Douglas Kapnick, Chairman of the Board
James Van Doren, Executive Director
