Seniors:
Career Connections is great opportunity for seniors seeking alternatives to college to connect with businesses from 6 different career paths in Lenawee County. This event allows for students to get a good job after graduation, gain interviewing experience and network with various employers. Throughout the event, individuals will learn about:
- Job openings
- Career options
- Tuition reimbursement
- Apprenticeships
To attend, you will need to prepare a brief introduction about yourself and bring 10 copies of your resume.
Juniors
Tour Adrian College’s campus and learn about different college majors. Also, students interested in education fields (ie. teachers, counselors) will have the opportunity to visit with Adrian College students and visit the College of Education.
Preparation
Want to stand out to potential employers? Learn what employers expect and how you can prepare accordingly. Also, gain insights on how to make sure your introduction hooks the listener and your resume reflects why employers would want to work with you.
