The Lenawee Intermediate School District and Lenawee Now we are pleased to announce an e-learning course designed to assist participants to elevate their work ethic. Our goal is to respond to the overwhelming needs voiced by local employers for entry-level employees that understand that great attendance, attitude, and accountability are essential on the job. This program has been used by Michigan Works! Southeast for several years who have even customized and facilitate it to meet specific employer needs.
Details About This Program
The e-learning course is called, “Bring Your ‘A’ Game Anywhere” which is about to be piloted at the LISD TECH Center. The course leads to a certification of Lenawee students in work ethic proficiency. Bring Your ‘A’ Game is a participant-centered training program designed to engage the learner. The training builds the seven foundational workplace skills of Work Ethic. And because it is virtual, participants have 24/7 access to 10 interactive e-learning modules.
❖ Module 1: Introduction to the Seven Workplace Skills
❖ Module 2: Making the Choice (Why these skills should be important to you)
❖ Module 3: Attitude (Staying positive in every situation and taking control of the way you react)
❖ Module 4: Attendance (Showing you are reliable, being on time, every time)
❖ Module 5: Appearance (Being professional in both the way you look and act)
❖ Module 6: Ambition (Taking initiative and adding value, exceeding expectations)
❖ Module 7: Acceptance (Having respect for others, following directions, being coachable)
❖ Module 8: Appreciation (Demonstrating your gratitude toward others, providing selfless service)
❖ Module 9: Accountability (Being honest and having integrity with every decision you make)
❖ Module 10: Putting it All Together (Review and development of final action plan)
Each module is accompanied by 10 question-graded quizzes as well as a 35-question multiple-choice exam at the conclusion of the training.
