Applications for this program can be submitted to the Michigan Small Business Restart Program through August 5, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. A local committee consisting of Lenawee County residents’ representing: a county government administrative member; a woman business executive and/or business owner; a minority business executive and/or business owner; an executive from the not-for-profit sector; and an economic development representative has been developed and appointed as the Lenawee MI Small Business Restart Local Review Committee.

Grants will be reviewed based on a number of factors, including the number of employees impacted, wages, the impact of COVID-19 on the business, geographic diversity, the economic impact of COVID-19 on the business location, with a focus on supporting minority, women and veteran-owned businesses.

Award decisions will be communicated to applicants and, if approved, a grant agreement will be signed, and funds will be distributed through electronic funds transfer. Funding is limited and applying does not guarantee funding.
