As the state of Michigan prepares to retire one third of their coal plants over the next five years, DTE Energy has had to develop a clean energy solution to compensate for the loss of production that will result from the retirements. In partnership with Spectra Energy, a solution known as the NEXUS Gas Transmission Project, has been proposed.

To answer this issue, the LISD TECH Center started the Reverse Job Fair to begin building and connecting a talent pipeline throughout Lenawee County. To have an event as unique and innovative as the Reverse Job Fair happen right here in Lenawee, helps to set us apart in our efforts to develop the future workforce.
