We’re excited to see the completed addition to the LISD Tech Center! New areas will be added for welding, manufacturing and the building trades. Employers have a great demand in our area for skilled workers, and the tools developed at the Tech Center helps students become employable right out of high school.
Lenawee County middle school students get hands-on look at potential careers
More than 200 Lenawee County eighth-graders got a glimpse Wednesday into their potential career paths, thanks to an ongoing program offered by the Lenawee Intermediate School District.
Payback for Education, now in its 28th year, pairs selected students from public and private school districts with more than 40 businesses and organizations, including the Adrian Fire Department and Hardwoods of Michigan Inc. in Clinton as well as Krieghoff-Lenawee Co. in Adrian.
Dunham’s Sports Grand Re-Opening in Adrian, Michigan
Dunham’s Sports in Adrian, Michigan will be relocating to the Adrian Mall. The Adrian Mall is located at 1357 S. main street. The new store will be bigger the the original location. This new store will be the 66th location of Dunham’s sports in Michigan.
The ribbon cutting took place this morning at 9 AM and the re-oping will take place through Sunday. On Saturday May 21st the first 100 adults in line will get a Dunham’s baseball cap. On Sunday the 22nd, the first 50 people or families will receive a $10 gift card for Dunham’s Sports.
